@spinnerkop

I always wondered how some people got certain species. But I reckon that many of the experts are experts because they have been in the hobby for many years. Before importation was very strict. Since some species can live for 40 years, someone might have bought a person's collection that was started 20 years ago, when there were no regulations.

But I know that since the effort is being made to breed these, eventually there should be slings available. Well, hopefully.

If you look at Scarab's efforts with his M balfouris, he spent a lot of money and time trying to breed these, without huge success (excluding the learning experience as success), that doesn't mean there aren't other people around that with M balfouris, it just means that they are not on this forum talking about it :D

All I can suggest is that when these experts grace us with their presence (such as Cerat), we should support them and assist with promoting the hobby. Only then can we share when a successful breeding occurs.
