Hi all

I am extending my profile by offering a few of your websites to be revamped. I will revamp your site for free using Flash Flex and PHP in other words nice and pretty with animations, photo galleries with all the bells and whistles.

I will offer this to at-least 5 sites completely free of charge. I would like at least one of these sites to run in a 3D environment... yes a 3D website hehehe. I wont be able to help everyone but pop me a pm and lets do some websites.

How dose a 3d website work.

Best way to explain is I can for instance make a 3D model of a T shop with tanks and accessories. Can then walk around in the store like a game and look at T's available and prices Something like that would take a bit of time though. But is something I want to do

Ahhh I thought you had to wear 3d glasses when viewing the website.

Creating a 3d shop is a massive undertaking. I used to model maps and players for counterstrike. 3d rendering just takes too long. Not to mention the customer download times.

Have a look at www.maidmarian.com they have 3d games that load right onto your pc - effectively doing what you are trying to do in a gaming format.

Yea it does kill the download a bit but Im using low poly models with baked maps so get the size down dramatically. the Away3D flash engine is nothing short of amazing and also compresses the models a hell of a lot. The amount of work that would go into such a project is mind boggling at best but will be worth it.

The idea is to match performance with aesthetics and I have found that coding the models as appose to using a modeling suit like Maya, Max or blender I can increase the download speed by up to 60%. Coding models is a lot more painful but increase in performance.
