Do I litter buds on the road... Yes That's why I pay taxes! (what else are my taxes good for)

There are MANY other factors that should prevent a smoker from throwing cig buds on the road.
Even when i was a smoker i would hoot like mad at ANY litter thrown from a car.

It seems that in SA our taxes are only good for buying black Mercedes' but (Call me a hippy) surely care of our earth and environment is enough to prevent litter??

Yes, maybe taxes should go to that, but do they???
As panama said, not littering should be more than enough reason not to throw them out the window? Kinda selfish reason you gave there zulu.

By the time my buds have made it to the river it's gone through natural erosion.
Walk along any street corner and count the buds. Now walk along a river that has the runoff from 1000 streets and count the buds... Bottom line is erosion (water, sand and grit) - not decomposition will return my buds to nature - not the tax man.

I sleep guilt free at night. :-)

I wasn't aware that they came from nature to begin with. The tobacco, sure.

Strictly speaking everything we use in this modern age comes from nature

Even if its synthetic it has been created by some process using components from nature.

Whether it be the byproduct of making petrol from coal or harvesting and processing plant material.

I don't condone littering :side: Just thought I would add ;)

If I am not mistaken the "erosion process" of cigarette buds takes quite a time, years not weeks????

Is this correct or am I still drunk  :pinch:
