Actually I agree with Nick to a certain extent. If I go on a tarantula forum it is because i want to talk about tarantulas and not frogs, cats, geckos, cars etc. That said I appreciate that not everyone is quite as single minded as I am in these matters and don't mind that there are topics on non-tarantula related stuff. If i'm not interested in a particular topic I simply don't click on it. Problem solved.

K Ceratogyrus i get that maybe nick wade pulled the wrong string with what he said but there is not need to get so upset about the situation we are not children any more there for we do not need to tease or be rude to people for asking questions.
He just like everyone else on this forum was just asking a question, all you had to do was reply with a nice comment but instead you want to look for a fight like a high school child :blink:
He did apologise about the whole thing but you still carry on. Once again acting like a high school KID...
I do agree that the sight should be for a lot of other things like snakes ect since we are all intreasted in more than just tarantulas
but like nick wade when i first joined i also wanted to know why there were other things on a sight that was made for tarantulas.I am not saying that it is wrong i quiet enjoy reading about all the other things that people are intrestead in.
I just find that the way you handled yourself in this situation was very wrong you are queit good at what you do it seems, so people are ment to look up to what you do or have to say, and if you go around being rude about what people ask on the forum they will not be bothered with you.

If you look at most reptile and tarantula forums, they all have sectons for posts about other pets / animals / topics. There is nothing wrong with that.

Same here - everyone can choose what to read.

What would help is if everyone makes their topic headers very clear and precise - sometimes that is not the case, and when you open a topic, the contents is different to what the header is. if topic headers very clear and precise, you do not have to read what does not interest you.

To Nick, hope the responses did not upset you to much and that you will stick around

Maybe you should have seen the first post before commenting?
Please try not to comment on things that you have no clue about then.
Nick and I have had run ins in the past and would prefer not to mention what happened then.
