Hi all

Im looking to borrow a dremel drill for a few hours to work on my bonsai tree im making, OR Is there any drill bit that i can use on a normal drill to carve out wood because i dont have a dremel drill?

Almost any hand drill will fit a drimmel bit. Will be hard work working with such a big drill however it can be done.

Bits 1, 3 and 4 from the top down in the pic work best for what you are going to do. If I was to choose one bit it would look like bit 4 however it's more oval than that... Wait I should find mine and take a photo.

You can get them from builders, tho I would not recommend you use them in a drill. It would be cumbersome and you will struggle to see what you're doing over the chuck.

My advice is as follows
if you do want to use your drill you can purchase a universal flexihose for a drill that you can use,this also converts your drill to a mini tool - way easier to operate!
You can then purchase the mini tool carvers or drill bits from either builders or adendorf
This would be the easy and most economical route!
