The story

As we had a bit of break- ins at our Academy and have suffered substantial losses we opted over and above having installed an alarm system ,burglar bars and what not , to now and then to overnight at the academy so that we can nail the suckers if and when they decide to come back!

it then so happens that we decide to overnight on Thursday evening, the wife being the person she is, decided that i will not go it alone, stayed as well, at about 1;45 she had a call of nature and went to the loo
When she came back she saw some light at the bottom of the property, i duly went to see and who and behold my neighbours premises was on fire, we phoned the fire brigade they eventually arrived and had the fire under control by 11 am the next morning

We had some damage but my neighbours bussiness of 40 years is no more, so we feel more sorry for him than ourselves

|We had our electricity restored but water has stopped as our supply comes via him so ja we will have to wait two weeks till the investigation is concluded

In the meantime we had many calls of concern and support

Sorry to hear Milty, always sad when such devastation is so close to ones live and lively hood.

On the other hand if you weren't sleeping on site it could of gone much worse.
At the end of the day everything works out, just stick it out.


Why don't you connect to the neighbours water meter in the meantime?
All you need is, 70mm heavy duty irrigation pipe, with some sepicon fittings all you need to do is connect to the meter.

Yep i believe things happen for a reason ,so it could have been worse!
