2. is a DK Nature Guide titled Rocks and Minerals. 2012 Title, 351 pages. Can fit inside a large pocket. ISBN: 978-1-4053-7586 (this one is pretty nice)
3. is a Bundu Series book, titled Gemmology by John Sweeney. 1971 title, 111 pages. ISBN: 0-582-64104-7 (First edition)
4. is a Struik book titled A Guide to the Rocks. Minerals and Gemstones of Southern Africa. 1976 title, 96 pages. ISBN: 0-86977-062-4 (First Edition)
5. is a book titled The Illustrated encyclopedia of the Mineral Kingdom. 1978 title, 240 pages. ISBN: 0-600-36263-9 (First edition). This one holds a special place in my heart as it is signed to me by my grandmother :'(
Anyway, these are all professional grade (except for the Eyewitness book) and have really good pictures with history, formation, blah blah blah. I would recommend all of the above if you can find them
