Be careful of wetting the enclosure too much. I only spray in the corner once, maybe twice a week and mine does fine. What you must remember is that since P. transvaalicus is a local species, they are accostomed to the local weather and seasons and so will act accordingly. For instance, P. cavimanus which comes from the northern hemisphere might be more active during winter here in SA because in the Northern Hemisphere it might be spring or summer and so they are accostomed to the seasonal cycles in their own country, despite what season it is here. They will slow down in winter here but not much compared to local ones. Basically, I wouldn't worry to much about it right now, mine is doing the exact same thing so my advice would be to keep it warm, make sure there isn't too much moisture in the sand, to prevent mycosis (fungal growth caused by excess moisture) and just keep an eye on it. Don't try and feed it at the moment, especially if it looks like it might pop from all the power feeding.
