Species name is always in small letters. And to be even more accurate actually it should be either P.cancerides or P.cancerides

Well, the first image is the best and from this it appears to be female. To confirm, if you still have the moult, try running a dissecting pin back and forth in a vertical motion across the believed spermatheca. This should result in the feeling of a flap or slight protrusion.

Try MrFerretman suggestion with the pin.

What are you using to take the pictures?
Add some more light to the molt this will help the device focus a bit better on the subject.
