You would need to take better quality photos, as it will just be a guessing game.

Better pics plz... Cameras have a minimum focal distance, meaning if you go to close to an object your camera will never focus on it, thus resulting in blurry pics. Most happy snap cameras are about 30cm meaning if your lens is closer than 30cm to the object it will be blurry. Unless you have an SLR then your focal distance will depend on what lens you have on your camera. True macro lenses are rated at a 1:1 ratio. For those of you who have a SLR and want to know how to get crisp shots every time understand the above and also make sure your shutter speed is greater than or equal to your focal length when shooting free hand. What this means is if you have a 70-200mm lens and say you zoom onto a bird in the distance and you go all the way to 200mm you shutter speed must never be slower than 1/200s other wise your pics will be blurry, or say you only zoom in to about say 100mm on your 70-200mm lens what must your shutter speed be???? 1/100s or greater... :-)

Could you take a pic of the spider from the top?

I'm taking a wild shot and say it's male by the coloring on it's legs but then again i'm most probably wrong because it's almost impossible from the evidence presented and i know a lot of you are going to think - what is this guy thinking, but versi's can be sexed by there coloring, thats why i would like to see a top view/pic. Males carapace are dark/black and have some purple in there coloring where females carapace are greener and they are more reddish. But a molt would of course be the most accurate!
