Can you guys and gals please help me to see if Jessi is a female or male here are some pics I took with my phones camera.














Jessi is so far my biggest T, and she had a perfect molt on the 12 December 2013, I was lucky enough that the old skin was still soft, due to the wet weather we had here in the East Rand, and honestly I am really hoping Jessi is a female.

Its difficult with these photos. Get us some from the inside of the skin. Like the first photo but closer

I dont usually comment on these things, as I just sit and see what the experts say, by the size of your T, and the looks of it (I do not know how to "sex" a T by looking at the molt), but I would put money on this one, my opinion is female, I have a smallish collection of my own T's, and in the last 8 years I have never been wrong about any of my T's sex.

But, that is just my opinion. :whistle:

Hi Vixen, remove the abdomen skin from the rest, wet it thoroughly in slightly soapy water, put it on a piece of glass with lighting from below and turn it over to see it from both sides, then take nice close-up pictures and post them. The skin is nice and big and your phone takes good enough closeup pictures, so I will give you a positive identification. I will also show you and other members what to look for in these and other Brachypelma's.

Looks female to me. But I am not the most knowledgeable keeper. Will see what the experts have to say
