Thanks. Just struggling to get the Psalmopoeus irminia to accept her new tank 300mm x 300mm 600mm. The Haplopelma albostriatum borrowed away havent seen her outside for about 2 months her tank is 300mm x 400mm x 500mm.

Why do you say the P irminia is battling to accept new the tank?

I was under the impression these were aboreal T's so burrowing shouldn't happen unless the T feels really insecure in the new tank?

The P irminia is a aboreal but for some reason she does not like the drift wood. She keeps walking around in the tank. Got an idea from an other site to build a cage in the big cage. When she has made her nest, just remove the smaller cage. Trying this later today.

Interesting... When you say drift wood, was this actually drift wood picked up at the beach?

I ask because I know that the high salt content in the wood might cause this reaction, the same way pokies loathe to be on human skin... Just a thought
