I breed my own feeder crickets as the only pet shop in town never has stock. A while ago on my way to work one morning I saw some of those big black ants close to the cricket container, that little voice told me to move the crickets and to make sure the ants cant reach them. Forgot and a couple of days later when i wanted to feed the T's I found a container full of ants and only 2 crickets left. They wiped out my entire cricket population. If only I listened to that voice, I could have prevented it. Took me a while to get the breeding project up and running again.

I know the feeling Cascade. Picked up one of my crick containers whne is slipped out of my hand into the container i keep my substrate in (was open since i was getting ready to rehouse a spider). Wasnt that big a issue but it took time to catch all of them again which i dont always have alot of.

Sorry to hear Cascade...........but i have a few free roaming lobster roaches in the house. we had a few very hod days and the vaseline melted a bit and ran down.....hence the escapees!!! seems to be all contained to the spider room!
