K, i'll try get more pics tonight...

Not really, I first dump the exuvium in water - flat on it's back and the exuvium pops open like a parachute (unless it's very dry in which case I wiggle and work it under water a bit until it becomes more flexible).

(Example)

I then place it on a piece of glass that i've sprayed lightly with water, and then I check the glass from the other side, it shows the spermathecae perfectly (Normally lol), looks like this pic from my other post:



But here you can clearly see the spermathecae of a 4.5inch C.cyaneopubescens, but on the P.regalis i didn't see anything?

Or atleast give it a good go, but at that size a dorsal pic should be 99.9% accurate. :)

You see in your pic Curt the Female on the right even has a clearly visible "ridge" between the book lungs, indicating the presence of spermathecae, but mine does not have that ridge.

Lemme get some pics tonight and you guys can have a look.
