My curly molted this weekend. I first noticed that her abdomen started darkening about two and a half weeks ago.

Instead of molting in her hide, she decided on a rather precarious position on top of her hide:

I did not want to disturb her, so I took the precaution of packing the areas around the molting mat with toilet paper just to be on the safe side. It was a pretty good idea.

Molt about halfway through:

Here she started to slide off the edge of the molting mat:

In the end she slid head first off the molting mat onto the toilet paper. She eventually made a rather undignified inverted backflop to get back on her feet.

All's well that ends well!

Very nice pics Nhandu.

She could have woken up after the molt with quite a headache hehe!

What is he estimated size difference at this size?

I'm not impossible. I'm being improbable.

I cannot really see a very significant increase in size. Before the molt she measured 115mm. (edit - make that 120mm) I guess she now measures 140 max.

I will know for sure after a couple of days when I take some measurements.
