After seeing this thread I decided to get me one of these. Cant wait!!!

Am I right in saying that they dont need any misting, just some water in a bottle cap/bowl etc?

Anything else I need to know? :eyepoke:

No Spiders need misting only except for when they are slings, this is a common misconception undertaken by the "Arachno-Culturalist"... once a spider reaches about 6cm use a watch dish.... 90% of tarantulas can be kept on done dry substrate provided they have a constant water supply ( a bowl).

However, there are some that need more humid conditions, so misting should be done every now and again. My H. gigas thrives on a Damp cage
