What makes you think male ?

Always nice to see a pokie out for a walk. The darker markings and being more fluffy makes me lean towards male aswell. But I am no expert. If UC thinks its a male then chanses are good that it is. He has been pokie'ing around for quite a bit.

@Huzi... I am just going on a pointer Cerat gave me... there is the little belly button on it and that tends to point towards male... will confirm with next molt

@Shaun... dorsal sexing with the line on the abdoman is easy on the regalis, fasciata and ornata... the rest (the higher the price and the more rare) seems to be a different ball game... thanx for the vote of confidence... much appreciated... but there is still tons for me to learn regarding pokies... hope yours is doing well.

Seems I have a lot to learn.

My P. Fasciata is still very shy. She built herself a silk and substrate hide on the side of the enclosure. But I never see her. I noticed that during the night she emptys her water bowl somehow, without tipping it over. At least she eats well. Also see other signs that se comes out an night. She will still find her feet and be less shy in the months to come.

In an unrelated story....
I came home at lunchtime to find that my was not in his enclosure. I nearly had a heart attack. Wanted to bliksem myself. I forgot to put the weights on the fish tank lid. After some searching about 20min I found him on a glass door about 7 meters away. Sooooooooooo glad I found him. Will never happen again
