Hi All

Happy Happy and best wishes and all that.......

Just thought I'd share.
Molted on New Year's Day.

Got her ( I hope she is a she ) from Ruan as a likkle baby.

She really is becoming very pretty, imo

Here are my other two, sorry for the angles/quality.....

Both are smaller, about 5 cm while the one in the first post is about 12 cm.
I got them from different people.

Is the purple colouring normal, as all the other pics I have seen are more brownish, like the one you posted ?

That is the interesting thing, the purple colour is there but can only be seen at certain angles and light.

Example with my photos.

I had a stunning immature male that had a stunning purple colour to its carapace. I only saw the purple in the sun when I was taking photos.

I Have not gone into it or did research to see if the purple Is there from a small age or as the spider get bigger and ready to mature.
