Cyclosternum fasciatum was created by Schalk du Plessis
My large Cyclosternum fasciatum molted today. Pretty quickly for such a large spider.
I was hoping for a female, first molt with me, so was planning on extracting the exuvium for sexing.
I do not have to now since tibial hooks and boxing gloves are quite obvious as indicators.
But anyway. HE is a beauty.
Add him to my long list of males then.
Anyway.
Will watch for a sperm web from here on.
Look the nice blue sheen on the black legs. Stunning.
