Rarety of Orange Tree Spider (tapinauchenius gigas was created by Clayton Passmore
Hi Guys,

I wanted to know what the rarety of the Orange Tree Spider (tapinauchenius gigas) is?

Does anyone have one? Do you get them around?

Here is the pic that i have of them (just came across it on the net)

There are a few going around so not all that rare. I think I saw one or two Online Shops selling. Will let you know if I remember which ones.

Rare in the hobby? Not very. Vinzy has one for sale:

Mine is about 8cm now, bought it for R130 2cm a few months ago. Not the prettiest Tarantula in the world though .... A very fugly kind of orange imo!

@F1refly, Thanks for the link .... i looked at that ad a few times and completely missed it

@Spunky, Hmmmm i think that pic i found was quite misleading, looked a heck of a lot better than the one you have. Are you sure that is an T.Gigas .... looks like it was eaten, chewed and then spat out again. Lol :silly:
