Hey All

Now that the rainy season is here there are a lot of baby frogs around (average size 1cm). Just wondering if you can feed them to your T. If not why?

I don't think it would be such a good idea, not with the state in which most water sources are in. The water in which these tadpoles developed and grew up in could have been contaminated in some way. The contaminants might have become concentrated in these frogs and in feeding them to your T's, you might expose them to these contaminants, putting your T's in danger.

Don't feed frogs:

1. Frogs secrete a nasty substance from their skin, this could potentially be fatal if ingested by your T.
2. Frogs are vertebrates, thus they have calcium in their bones which, in the long run, causes brittle fangs.
3. Enjoy cleaning the mess afterwards, provided you ignored 1 and 2 above.
4. Frogs are awesome creatures.
