LOL @ Mark. Yup thats what the book says. Bell = Food, and as I mentioned they refused to eat without the bell. Try and get your hands on a copy of that script, it's really interesting if it's at all true.

@ Angel, ya ne? It is cruel hey? But then again nothing ventured, nothing gained I guess and you can tell she felt terrible about them dying. :(

Now imagine if you could train all female T's that bell = mating time! That would be awesome, you ring the bell, the female T comes out and assumes the position, allowing the male to mate with her, and does not try and chow him for lunch when he's done.

Then you blow a whistle, and shabam! she will lay a sac! Pffft I'm totally fooling around, but what if this were possible based on what this lady wrote? Food for thought...

Sounds like the same principle as clicker training in dogs...

Based on Pavlov's principles...

I wonder however - how much of that experiment was conducted scientifically.

+1 Animal too. Isn't that one of the big issues with T's? Proper scientific research?

Anyway, I just wondered what you all thought of this or if any of you have in any way trained your T's. I know some people can feed them from the forceps (Like RobC and many more people I'm sure). Some of the people I have met told me that when they enter their T room for feeding time, all their T's come out and start pacing their enclosures in anticipation of food.

I would love to be a fly on the wall 500 years from now (if the world still existed) to see what all would have been learnt about T's in that time.

Have a great day everyone.
