Good day

I just want to know will a tarantula eat as much as u feed them or will they stop when they are full, the reason for my question is that it seems that some t's will feed untill they "burst"

Thanks

Happy new year to everyone :cheer:

Yup the various L.dificilis and L.Parahybana are voracious eaters. Spiders generally though are used to infrequent feeding in the wild, as they sit and wait for prey to wander past their burrow. So typically a spider will eat what it gets as it won't know where it's next meals coming from. Generally though I stick to 2 meals a week for slings.

The difference between utility and utility plus beauty is the difference between telephone wires and the spider web.

Thanks for the info,i also feed my t's 2-3 roaches a week although my brachypelma albopilosum has a huge appetite i do not overfeed my t's because they will become to heavy and shorten the lifespan ofcourse as they will molt more often...
