Looks like the inside of an ocular tubercle to me which is no help in determining the sex of the spider. Have a look here then take some more pics and i will be able to help you.

i think you guys are right! it looks like the molted section covering the eyes to me to!
It cant help in any way for sexing a T! (unless you can see it giveing the 'evil' eye? then its prob female! lol

After googeling ocular tubercle images I can see what you see. Now you even have me guessing on my own pic. The pic is of a freshly molted young T taken as horizontally as I could. If you look at hendrijs pic above the white spots are the ones by the circle and below that look like ocular tubercle but are not. Ar'nt they the book-lungs? I was lead to believe through the pics on the web that the female organs are below the book lungs if the photo is taken horizontally. Guess the pics are ambiguous then again it's easy to get confused with extreme closeup shots. Guess I'll have to wait for next molt. (lost the exuvium) I'll post the next pics here.
