Aggresive G Pulchripes
Rendering Error in layout Widget/Module: array_unshift(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, null given. Please enable debug mode for more information.
i recently built a new enclosure for my G pulchripes and i used marine silicon but ever since i put him in it he has become so aggresive and attacks anything in there...do you think the marine silicone's fumes could be causing this?
I doubt it will be the silicon that is affecting its behaviour. More likely it will be the fact that it has been rehoused and is a bit unsettled. It will probably calm down once it has settled into its new home.

Regarding the silicone. I wait for it dry so well that it does not smell any more. It usually takes about a week for the smells to be gone and usually in warm conditions or in the sun.
In this hobby patience is your friend... unless it is the other Patience that saw your spider and sprayed it with doom and wacked it with a broom :silly:
i rehoused mine a week ago from his plastic tub to a glass box .. at first he just sat in the corner and hide, after the second day he was streching his legs and marked his new place ! So yeah, patience is the name like Echodive said.
I'll let my aggressive Ts know that they are not allowed to bite for no reason. They are allowed to only be defensive.
Just like SA crime law. You may not harm an intruder and only defend once they at least shot you once and killed your wife, then you may be defensive.
Point is, defence or aggression is in the eye of what side you are on or your definition of defence. Ts don't care about words or definitions on paper.
