HI guys
Feeding my Ts the other day when I noticed little grey insects crawling around. On closer inspection I discovered that it was tiny crickets 30+ easy. They had obviously been laid just prior to the T eating the mother cricket. I clean the water dish regularly and each time I clean it I find little crickets in the water. would these tiny critters be any bother to the T or will she just eat them as she discovers them? The T molted not to long ago so that wont be a problem any time soon. Will the crickets be fine to leave in there?

Ja I think we all had this!! Before I feed my tarantulas I throw all the crickets into a container with substarte in and leave them for about a day or two then I feed them off
so they can lay all there eggs in their and not in my tarantulas enclosures.

They mite bug your tarantula if they go into her burrow but they wont harm her.

They will be to small to eat. if you take egg cartains and place them in the tank the pin heads will climb onto the egg cartain and then you can remove them like that.

or you just spray the tank with your spray bottle this will kill them.
or you let the substrate dry and they will die.
or you deep clean and remove the substrate.

Best way is to let the substrate dry out! they will then die!
my Ts are some of the best cricket breeders ive seen!

Its painful when that happens, I now give the cricket a good squeeze with the tongs before I put it in the terrarium that way it aint going to lay any eggs before the T get it, and if the T's not hungry the cricket dies anyways.
