Yeah they have a nice crush to them ... the thing that freaks me out is that most of them just get back up and go about there business :D

When life gives you lemons, wing them right back and add some lemons of your own.

I think it's the wrong message sent out there... And no, I don't squash anything just for fun and for no reason at all

i agree with marula.
i never killed a roach before, atleast not that i know of.
for me a spider aint a bug,its more of a pet,a passion, something i look at in the morning and smile to see it is alive, moving, waiting and depending on me to feed it,love it and care for it...just like a baby exept babies scares me more.

hehe. Yes Cerat, I suppose you are correct, still just a bug. For most people, their first reaction to hearing that I keep "spiders" is that they will squash them.
My response (might be cruel as well) is that how will they feel if I drive over their dog with my car or knife their cat?
I love my Ts a lot :D They are my pets and I care for them.

But I think the difference for me with regards to other bugs is that I think of Tarantulas as individuals, where ants, roaches, crickets, etc. are collectives. Best way I can describe it.

But either way, I don't like the idea of unnecessarily harming any animal or bug.

I always feel a little sad when I see animals on Fear Factor.
I don't think it's pleasant for the animal. Be it a tarantula, a snake, , scorpion, or even the bugs. It seems cruel.

I watched a special episiode of FF during the December holidays where they had to eat a Red Roman. Alive.. I do not like Red Romans but I felt sorry for them. They also enjoy eating Hissing Roaches alive on FF alot.

I think it's mean :( Poor guys.
