If things look very bad try using a ICU.
I'm going now so can't explain it... so here is a link instead www.tarantulas.com/first_aid.html

It's a really tiny sling, so cant really say if it's pre moult. I've put it into ICU, but I have to be honest and say that it doesn't look promising right now. If it is pre moult, then the moisture should help. Don't think a night in ICU would harm it if it wasn't dying

But thanks guys. Even if it doesn't make it, I'd have setup an ICU tub and understand when and how to use it, and in doing so learnt something useful and important.

I hope you wake up in the morning with a freshly molted sling.

Just an update:
It appears as though the sling did not make it :(
Woke up this morning to find it in ICU, not move or responding to anything. Makes me worry now about getting 1cm slings

But the rest are all alive and well. On a heating pad for this cold weather we're having this week. Have the heating pad under a piece of Astroturf and some glass as not let it get too hot. Enough moisture, droplets on the sides to drink, and I'll chop up a cricket later for them when I get home from work.

Thanks for the help guys :)

Sorry to hear NightFang. This sometimes happen.

I bought a beautiful A geniculata. It was already a substantial 8cm legspan. Had it for 2 weeks, the it started acting like you explained, fatigued, not moving, not eating well. curled into a ball, but moved when prodding it.
Then the next day, not moving at all. Very sad for me.

So not only slings can die like that. I think the difference is that the larger T cost a couple 100 rand, compared to a relatively cheap sling. Same loss emotionally, but hurts the wallet as well when it's expensive.
