Mandie, you are taking it better than I think I would have. If it was one of my regular Ts, I would have been upset at first and maybe calmed down eventually, but if it was one of my first love (the ones that got me in the hobby) then I would have thrown a tantrum.

None the less I would not trust him/her again. If this person is willing to do this without telling you, I would be careful in the future. Might tell you it got killed by female and meanwhile keep it in his/her collection.

got it a while ago from a friend who was affraid of the tiger. so i luckily did not get attached to it.
he brought it when i was in the bath, so he droped it off at my boyfriend. now my boyfriend is affraid of spiders, if he sees one he likes, he will buy it and give it to me, byt he is not smart with ts, so while in the bath my boyfriend called and told me to get my butt out of the bath. i did not believe my boyfriend because i know he was not good with ts.
anyhow, took one look and saw that it was not mine, not nearly as aggresive. this one i could handle. so i startes shaking for a while, because i promised super D that he can take it for a breeding loan and wondered how would i explaine it to him. i screamed and shaked ready to go and snap my friends bones like a glow stick, my mom came in and i am teaching her about ts, she do not like them but listens anyhow... so she said: this is your tiger because it has that hookie stuff on his front legs like yours had.
then i realised, it is also a mature male and i started laughing, the one i had were only giong to live for another 3 months or so because it started to get weak. this new one looks healthier and full of live. i would just like to go laugh in the guys face who has the older male.

lol NO! i do not prefer the word friend no more, lol but i should actually thank him.

I agree with echodrive, you're handling this rather well. You did end up with the better T by the sounds of things, but I wouldn't trust my friend with his/her own life anymore. No wonder he slid out after dropping it off.
