You will get a great answer from 'Marula'

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us...

Personally, I prefer the Dubias. The turkish ones don't get very big and they poop a sticky substance on you when picked up.

Dubias are hard to get breeding, but once they start, they don't stop for anything. My colony is about 6 months old and hasn't started breeding yet.

I would recommend dubias, even a few hissers, their babies make excellent sling food.

Personally i prefer the lateralis roaches!
They do not smell and they do not burrow in the tanks like the Dubias. They are much easier to breed and there for the size is not a problem. Insted of just feeding 1 dubia you can feed 4 Lateralis's. The adults rarely excrete that sticky substance.;)

B. lateralis is a good breeder and feeder with high acceptance, non-climbing and doesn't hide immediately or play dead when presented to a spider. On the down side they may smell if not kept clean and absolutely dry. And they are pretty fast. The biggest problem with them is their potential to become a pest in the house, so be extra vigilant and apply roach gel on strategic places around your T room and close to your colony.

Dubias don't climb either but do play dead or try to hide or burrow to escape their fate. I just feed them one by one to my T's and have no hassles. They are good breeders with the right temperature and care, but you need a fairly large colony (at least a few hundred females) to really get it going. They grow fairly slowly, but then the females, once adult, will produce young for a long time.
