Hey guys and girls.

I have a 1cm Acanthoscurria geniculata, so for the past two days I noticed it had not moved so I opened the cage and poked it to see if it was still alive it moved one or two legs, I though this is weird slings don’t usually do that when poked..So I thought maybe is really full after having a big cricket that it’s not moving. I waited another day and checked on it and same thing but even worse today :( I have 3 other Acanthoscurria geniculata slings and they fat and happy... so I decided to try and move it I thought it was on its way out and to my surprise when I rolled it there was a small piece of vermiculite hooked on the poor slings leg hampering it from moving.... so with a tooth pick I managed to free the sling and to my surprise it ran over my hand as if saying thank you :woohoo: :silly: so it looks 100% better, will have to keep an eye on it though... so my verdict is DO NOT USE vermiculite for slings 3cm and under... this is just my own new personal opinion.
