Hi Guys,

Iv recently obtained my very first curly hair from a friend and since then my fascination with spiders has grown a lot.

I remember as a kid I really wanted a big tarantula as seen in the movie home alone - I was 7 then and so only 20 years later I got my first spider!

Is there any way you guys can ID this for me - I caught it in my house to take a pic or two and in devoured one of my curly's crickets in like 5 minutes...

The pic is very bad quality so it is a bit difficult to tell, but it almost looks like a rain spider(huntsman spider).
If possible could you please post a better pic

As Wynster said it's very difficult from that pic but it's either a Rainspider or more likely a Wolfspider B)
You can take an Aphonopelma to crickets but you can't make it eat!

Where are you situated or where did you find it?
Its either a wolf spider (Lycosidae family) but looks more like a tropical wolf spider (Ctenidae family)
