The other day I was thinking about the following. Are there anything that we can use to put/spray in Tarantula cages that would prevent mould build up, but not be harmful to the T's?

"God said it, we believe it, that settles it!!!"

This is why we should never take anything as the final result and set fact, but always be open to possibilities...this is where the adventure of discovery and connection between reality and the fantasy world lie.~ "Henry Howard Jnr"...

Decrease misting = decrease in mould.
I keep my tanks bone dry and only struggle with mould when I flood my tanks for breeding purposes.

I have also started doing this.
works well. Keeps mites away as well.

My one cage had mushrooms growing in it. No idea how it got there in the first place. Replaced all the substrate.

they spread via spores, they are minute and travel with the faintest of breezes! it could land on your cloths and then when you home it could rub off and fall into your ts enclosure when you busy feeding or something! crazy how life has developed is it not! :P

If all is not lost, where is it?

That my dear friend is why breeding certain spiders is so difficult. :)
Same triggers for moulting and breeding. There are a few subtle differences though, so you just need to know when to flood and how much to get a better chance of a sac rather than a moult.
Lots of trial and error in some species. :)
