Can I feed my Tarantulas darkling beetles?

I am starting a mealworm farm, because the mealworms are high in protein but they transform into these tiny beetles quite fast. I was just wondering if this is still a good food source or are they too high in chitin and should I rather find another way to control the crowd...Would prefer to cultivate their numbers by feeding them to my Ts but don't want to feed them something thats more harmfull than good.

Sorry I am posting questions left and right!!!

I had personally fed all different stages of the mealworms to my Ts without any side effects.. they enjoyed the beetles just as much.

lets tango!

Thank You!!!

It would feel like a waste to commit mass genocide on the poor fellas when they get too much.
As I said I would rather use them as feeders.
Thank You for the quick Reply.

I should Probably just keep them from burrowing and laying eggs in the Tarantula enclosures?

yes u are correct, I usually fed them to the Ts that are always hungry and grabbed them straight away before they could dig into the substrate. I use to squash the heads of the mealworms to make that easier, so maybe u could do something similar to the beetles but that will be harder..

lets tango!
