ventral pick looks male, but dorsal makes it look female from what I'v been reading up on and looking at pictures of. In the ventral pick you can see where there's a slight elevation and a white dot, but dorsally the middle line seems to be lighter than the rest of the abdomen, which I'v read to indicate it being a female?

I had a few pokies that also looked like that ventrally. They all turned out male. That whiter part is the concentration of the hairs where the female as a more even spread.
With pokies, the 2nd most accurate way to sex (Next to looking for spermecethae) is by looking for the dark line down the middle of the abdomen.
The carapace has a more even colour on the male.
But this does change over the course of it's life so if the T is very small, it is not very accurate.

What is the legspan of this specimen?

Ooooooooooooo. Interesting. based on the exuvium and the dorsal pic i would say male 91.38%
Still a slight chance of a female sneaking through there though.
