I want to know if it will be safe for me to feed a wasp to one of my tarantulas.
I found two outside, not sure what kind of wasps. they are about 2cm and brown red. they seem to have lost their ability to fly.
I led them into to plastic tubs where they are now.
any advice appreciated

Dont wasps eat Tarantula's??

I would imagine it to be quite dangerous, although i did watch a video of a T eating a Fer de Lance.

I know there is a wasp called the Tarantula Hawk named so because is eats Tarantula's.

IMO I wouldn't suggest it. Lets see what the other have to say.

I wouldn't risk giving it, even to my biggest T. There's always a chance it could harm your T. It just isnt worth it, and as spinnerhead said, there is one which kills tarantulas so I would say that even a small one is capable of causing harm to one of your prized possessions.

DO NOT DO THAT! you could seriously harm your T!
Rather stick to crickets and roaches! When wasps are captured or held, they will immediately sting repeatedly if threatened! So watch what you feed your T's mate cuz it could be there last meal...

@ Halfniak it is better if you stay away from anything in the garden or outside as food for your T's, you will never know if any insect came into contact with any poison or pesticides and you might land up killing your T'

Wasps, not at all. I wont try that.

There are various parasitic wasps that targets spiders or spider eggs. The smaller species will lay there eggs on the spider eggs and their young will feed on the spider eggs. The bigger wasps will lay their eggs on the spiders and the even bigger species will paralyse baboon spiders and lay one single egg in each victim. He will then bury the spider with the egg, leaving the immobilized spider as a living larder for their larvae. In general wasps and spiders ain’t friends. I wont use them as food.

I knwo about the wasps killing tarantulas and other spiders. That is exactly why I wanted to feed it to my T. To have revenge!!! lol.
I thought of removing the wasp's stinger first.
But anyway ok and thanks.
I will rather just leave any garden bugs out of my t's tanks!
