I agree with Phantom, anything found in your house and garden could have been exposed to an array of pestecides and poisons. And by the sound of it there is already something wrong with those wasps. :sick:

Stick to what you buy from a trusted source or bred yourself.

3 Months ago I saw a blue wasp with orange wings dragging a 7cm legspan local baboon spider to it's nest. Needless to say I also see them scanning the ground near Big ants, and near their nests. They hover around and catch the biggest of the lot, and I have seen them on our plot on numerous occasions in a pack of 4 - 2 scanning. I leave them alone but I was sad seeing that T being dragged around, I also encountered a stand off between a colourful locust and one of those wasps. Being stung by them when I was a child was not a pretty sight. I was stung while building a tree house lol, and it stung me right between the eye's. I ended up in my doctors office with a morphine "i think" injection and my face swollen up until I wasn't even able to see. Later that day I was able to just barely see through my eyes, and played super mario on an old gaming console back in the day.

I think firstly the fact that the wasps in question having lost their ability to fly should already be an indicator of something wrong..if they are not doing what they suppose to be doing as in flying....what made them incapable of flying....poison? pesticide?..although revenge is a brilliant idea lol i reckon they could have still takin two Ts with them in the end...but thats just my opinion...

I have fed Drone Honey bees (Apis malifera) to my Pokies some time back. Drones do not have stings though and are stupid as soil...

Wasps? Won't go there myself. While sort of on the topic of Wasps, this is my favorite by far. Certainly not a colony you want to bump into, they will waste an adult in a few seconds. Fascinating nocturnal wasps from Venezuela.

now that is something to fear! wow, i hope i never bump into something like that! iv heard stories from my father when you lived on a farm, and it involved cattle, banana trees and wasps! Let me just say it was not nice stories what so ever!

I've seen a couple of vids on youtube of tarantula hawks attacking t's, eventually dragging them off. But I was wondering, do the t's ever win such a fight?
