These are a great help, mine I have always opened from the top and have had problems with my Psalmopoeus cambridgei. escaped twice as they are so damn fast. Found him both times under the same chair. mmm maybe that is what he is lacking in his container --- a chair :ohmy: These ideas are great so can open container without him flying out at me.

So I use all kinds of containers from Deli cups, Rickcoffe glass container, tennis ball container, plastic bins, Jam jars(the ones you gran would make Jam in with the cold lids, critter keepers even a CD spendal and not to forget glass tanks.

I will be uploading a couple of pictures to show how some of my setups are.
Allot of them need plants or a bit of green, the only reason I have not used plants is they tend to die on me and plastic plants are far to expensive.

But none the less here goes.

This is my H incei communal, this was the first day there wore transfered, the one close to the water bowl was busy molting when I pulled her out of her burrow, she still molted out and went and made her home next to the water bowl.
