Anyone ever had a mite problem in their T tank?

Just be careful feeding your spiders from the infected tub/infected crickets. Mites are small and you mite not see them, you might just infect your spiders enclosure.
remove them to a clean and dry container. Also check the crickets that they don't have mites attached to them before you feed them to your spider!

That is why I let my pin head container dry out, even let the pin heads die, as I can not afford a break out of mites in my spider cages.

Had a mite infestation from hell. They were everywhere and I lost 7 T's that week. The advice was to move all spiders into new enclosures with only one small water container and not mist. remove all objects from tank and was in boiling water or put in the microwave - works like a bomb. Saved me a lot of heartache in future. Now I inspect the crickets before they go anywhere near my spiders.
