For sure will be able to, but I think the polystyrene is the way to go for something that big. It took 4 hours to print this little hide so it takes time. And I think its more fun to do it Rob C style. I think the only deference will be price and weight. Printed will be lighter and cheaper I recon a backdrop will cost like R10 to print and what ever you use to decorate with "silicone and substrate or what ever".

So pros and cons in everything as always :)

Will your boss allow you to do it? or is the printer purely for work?

So are we all going to cheap in and buy a printer together? :P

It very smart way to do it, but is it really worth it, 38K, how many people out there is going to want designs in there tanks?

It is an awesome kit, just thinking of how accurate it can be.
And your designs has no limits, if you can think it and put it into the program you can make it!?

Work a bit stingy with it unfortunately. Its worth the 38k no doubt dude... just a lot of cash hehehe.

Can print any model you make with accuracy of 5 microns .... thats very tight.

I would love my own but is a bit pricey. There is a cheaper alternative but not as big.

The idea is that you can print a printer for a friend. someone just needs to have a printer first. Still have to get the electronics for it.
