P.irminia are one of my favourite spiders but they are aggressive... when +7cm in size.
Haplopelma lividum- often called the pet hole because you never see them... very aggressive.
Id suggest you get a poeciltheria ornata they get a good 20-24cm they are less aggressive than P.irminia grow fast and once you get a pokie you will be addicted they not aggressive in my opinion I have 30 and my 12cm P.irminia puts my huge female poeciltheria fasciata to shame, they can be aggressive at times.

So after digesting everyones replies I have decided to get a Psalmopoeus irminia and a Poecilotheria ornata.
I know its 2 but hey sometimes peolpe get given freebies(obviously pre-arranged with the seller to be posted that way ;) )
The reasons for my decision is that Ive always wanted the P irminia, beautiful colours and wouldnt mind a feisty T and the P ornata because I dont have a pokie yet and really want to see what all the fuss is about. From pictures Ive seen the ornata would be the most acceptable for my better half.

Thanks again for all the feedback guys. its much appreciated.

P.irminia are very good looking spiders. A bit reclusive and I don't see mine very much except when taking out it's meal for the day or when it comes out to dump an old food bolus into it's water dish, but always a stunner to look at.

P.cambridgei (Get one of these too :D) on the other hand are also a bit reclusive, but I find that they are a little less shy and actually "learn" a lot faster than other T's... I've had two of them and both learn to approach the top of the enclosure when they hear/feel/sense (don't know how they know, but they know) me fussing about with my roach tubs just before feeding, and the first one used to actually wait for me to open the lid and would then climb out and sit on the edge of the enclosure with his front legs in the air, almost in a threat pose... waiting for me to put a roach in his grasp, and then he'd scurry down and munch away. I call them the Border Collies of T's lol.

With P.ornata, make sure to watch RobC's P.ornata bite video on YouTube... so you always respect what you have and never have to FEEL what the fuss is all about lol. From my experience with them in the last year, all Pokies are fantastic to keep, just don't get on the bad side of their fangs. Not trying to scare you or put you off, just giving you fair warning to always be alert when working with both of these T's coz both are known to have a very nasty venoms.

I have no doubt that you will find both of these T's very rewarding to keep.
