Last year I bought 5 Brachypelma boehmei slings from the auction.
Of the five one died. One is almost 6cm and one is still so small it can fit unto a straw - 1cm. I assume they came from the same egg sack.
Just posting my observation.....

Interesting! Any ideas why this happened? I'm fairly certain the death was due to the natural mortality rate.
You mentioned the sizes of two of the remaining four. What are the sizes of the other two?
Have they all lived under the exact same conditions for the past year?
I would be pleasantly surprised If their conditions and feeding schedules were identical. Just goes to show how every spider is an individual.
ill take a guess that the small 1 is a female. the males usually grow faster than the females. its probably so that the male can go look for other female to prevent mating with the same blood line in the wild

Below is a photo of 2 A. geniculata's that were kept exactly the same from when i got them at 1cm. The only time anything was changed was when one got larger than the other and had to be moved into a larger tub. Its hard to tell from the photo but the tubs are together and the spiders are actual size. Both were females.
The sizes of all four T's are: (I should post some pics)
1cm
4cm
5cm
6cm showing full colour.
Feeding schedule was the same however the bigger they got obviously I started feeding bigger feeders to the larger T's.
