How were those spiders sexed? I know nothing of P.cancerides, but the second one just has a "male" look to me.
No offense, but its because of people breeding spiders before they know enough about it that we end up in hassles like this.
You should have first been asking these questions before mating the spiders.
Wasn't aware that the genus was so mixed up.
