Is this normal? was created by Mark
My B. albopilosum molted on Saturday. Took her a few hours and all went well.
So after a long time of being relativity inactive she is moving around a bit again and climbing the glass again and so on.

This afternoon I walked in to see her on the glass facing down with her abdomen flipped forward almost 90%. I stressed a bit and opened her box and then gently touched her on the leg. She seemed to wake up, pull her abdomen back into position and then climb down in a bit of a huff.

Was she sleeping on the glass? Upside down?

Yeah. Some Ts tend to do that. I have noticed it a lot with my B albopilosum, G pulchripes and even my P cambridgei. They seem to be sleeping and relaxing then the abdomen sags like that. Still hilarious when I see it.
Perfectly normal.
