2. The fastest growing/maturing tarantula in the SA hobby

1. Probably a Lasiodora or Theraphosa or possibly a MM rufilata/ornata. There is a lot of tollie tape measurements so not sure if you would get accurate measurements from anyone.
2. Depends on who keeps it, what temperature it is kept at, amount of feeding, etc. Don't think there is one species that is the fastest. I have had A.junodi males mature 6 months after reaching 2nd instar and my temps and feeding rate are low.

Largest would be T. Blondi as far as i know or at least that's been recorded.

Fastest growing i'm not 100% sure but I'd say or at least guess that it would be something like the B. Albopilosum or L. Parahybana. However you must take into consideration the environment in captivity. Heating, feeding ect plays a major if not the most significant role in the growth of a tarantula no matter the specie.

No, no, no, other side of the planet buddy. Most of the Asian arboreals are quick growing maturing in around 2 years. They also have significant growth 'jumps' from moult to moult.

My Pamphos grow quite quickly, and grow significantly with each molt. Also, T. ockerti grows quickly. I do have a A. geniculata sling, but it doesn't grow as quickly as the T's I mentioned above.

In my experience.. L.klugi grow fast and huge
