I've been doing alot of research on misting and water for tarantulas. I came to the conclusion that I fail and would like some input from fellow T lovers.

1. Tap water
2. Bought water (Still water like Bonaqua)
3. Tap water boiled and cooled.

What's the best for water/misting?

Tap water works fine.

Sometimes when you open your taps you get a white-ish looking water (chemicals from the treatment plant) and its not harmful to humans or dogs but Tarantulas? I'm just concerned after my avic avic just died for no apparent reason :(

If you have enough money to buy bottled water to mist and fill spider waterbowls with (Even though it is probably just treated water anyway), then go ahead I suppose.
Otherwise I would just use normal tap water.
Whether it would not affect a dog, but would affect a tarantula, that is anyone's guess.

We have all experienced SAD (Sudden Avic Death). No one really knows the reasons and there are pages and pages of discussion on the subject on the forum.

I wouldn't eliminate bacteria in water as a cause (or one of many causes) but I personally don't think it's a key factor.

For you're own peace of mind you could boil the tap water to kill off any bacteria that may be in the water. Obviously don't serve it boiling tho ;)
