I just witnessed the strangest thing i have seen any of my T's doing

Basically my B. Boehmei is in pre-molt for the last few weeks and tonight while I'm chatting away on the phone staring at my T's I notice her walk up to the vents of the enclosure and start flicking hairs out the vents all along the side of the ensure. She basically had to lift her abdomen to reach the vents and flick the hairs out!!! I was sitting about 2m away so I'm sure she couldn't have sensed me...

Anyone seen this behavior before?

Spiders may flick hair around the place where they're about to molt as a defense against predators while theyr in a vulnerable state. (I think :P)

That was my first thought! I was just amazed that she knew where the vents where and aimed for them the whole length of the "Faunarium" enclosure.

@Cascade: Cool video that! It must be that she is about to sport a new suit. Hopefully I have surprise tomorrow morning! :)

@Huzi: Haven't seen any, but will have a better look just incase and rule that one out.
