So I woke up this morning to a horrible scene. The little deli cup that my blue fang is kept in was covered in ants, seems with all the rain they have moved into the house.
I obviously immediately opened it up to see what could be saved. The little guy has been in pre-molt ans closed himself off in a hole. i opened up the hole and there he was safe and sound thankfully.
I moved him over to one of my stand-by enclosures and he seems well, although in heavy pre-molt now.
Typical they attack the most expensive sling I own!! Scary scene though. Will definately be making my cabinet ant-proof ASAP.

I had the same with my P ornata sling. I had a nightmare and when I got up, the nightmare was true, ants all over the Ts enclosure. They didn't attack the T itself, just took over his enclosure.

Use cinnamon. It messes with the ants sensors so they avoid it.
If possible, you can place the feet of the cabinet in jar lids sprinkled with cinnamon, so only way to access the Ts are over the cinnamon.
Otherwise, just sprinkle it around the enclosures, it won't affect the Ts.
Just add some more every couple of weeks. I have never had issues with ants since I did this.

Doom barrier and similar work well as well. Just make sure to not spray where it can reach the Ts. Hold can close to the floor and spray lines around the room.

Baby powder works wonders with ants as well it seems to smother them, sprinkle the powder around the t enclosure not in it . I use it around my cricket enclosure as had an expensive loss of food once.

I use those green ant trap thing, works very well for me, been using them for ages, another advantage is any escaped roach will also eat it and die so u don't get an infestation :)

@T-rad, the green traps tend to attract the ants to get them to eat the poison.

Update: I got home last night to find the same Blue fang sling in its new container again being attacked by ants.
All the other 11 sling containers around it were clean with no ants.
I have sprinckled cinnamin as suggested but after a day or 2 the smell seems to fade.
Will now be placing them on a board with screws for feet that will be placed in upside down lids filled with castor oil, or water so that there will be no way for them to get to the containers.
