So I've got this little H. formosus. For the past two months he has been moulting every two weeks like clockwork. He only eats one roach a time and then ignores all other food This morning will be the fifth time he has moulted in this two week interval as I discovered that he has moulted yet again. As far as I have been able to research, they are a slow growing species and the growth after each moult is maybe a millimeter at best

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

He has moulted about 8 times since I've had him

I think its time you slow down on the growth hormones!

My L. parahybana could certainly do with a growth spurt right about now. It's very strange, and it doesn't grow much at all, previous moults were maybe half to a whopping 1 millimeter in growth, this last moult was about 1 millimeter too.

My G rosea went for 4 months with no eating and then molted twice within a 2 week space and now has gone about 3 months with no eating again.
Its common with them though, got no idea whats up with your little guy though. Very interesting situation though, hope someone can enlighten us as to what it could be causing this.
Are you providing any external heating, what is the humidity at??

He's right up against a heatpad, it doesn't get too hot, in a large heating tub filled with my scorpion tubs which is then covered with a lid which is then covered with a blanket/towel/big cloth thing. Keeps everyone nice and toasty. Humidity is about.........I have no idea, I don't use a Hygrometer but you can occasionally see water droplets on the side
