You can also buy from Builders Warehouse, Starke Ayres Natural Care palm peat, contains only peat, is quite cheap and makes a LOT of moist peat. Think it sells for around R30

am surprised though that people don't know where to purchase peat blocks...lol Builders yes or a pet shop will also have.
you know I can get a 10 kg compressed peat block for R50...lol i know the owner who supplies all the pet shops etc but he will only sell to me unfortunately as we are mates for years now.
